I’m an historical fiction writer from the UK and my debut novel A Book of Secrets, about a girl from 16th century Ghana hunting for her lost brother through an Elizabethan underworld, was published by Jacaranda Books in June 2019. It was longlisted for the Historical Writers Association Debut Crown Award 2020 and the Diverse Book Awards 2020.

ABOUT ME
I’ve been telling and writing stories for as long as I can remember. In 2011 my short story Sam Brown won second prize in the Asham Award for women writers and in 2012 I received an Arts Council grant to finish my first novel, which became A Book of Secrets. Read more here.
